Mega Manualing Maniacs!

So if you weren’t at The Commons Skate Park last night you missed a great show… the lovely peeps at Red Bull held “Manny Mania” here in Halifax. The quality of skating on this day was unrivaled by any regular day at the skate park. Guys came from all over N.S. to participate and show their best manualing skills. The stars of the evening were Johnny Purcell taking 3rd place, Alexander Mitchell coming in a close 2nd place to Neil Blackwood who came in 1st. Neil now gets to go to Vancouver on July 17th and compete in the Canadian Finals… Good luck!! We were all impressed with the skating that happened last night and congrats to all the finalists, you guys were awesome.

Pro Skates Deck of the Summer and MM Benefit Auction!!!!

Ladies and gentlemen, kids and grandparents,

Pro Skates and Pro Girl would like to invite you to join us for our

“Pro Skates Deck of the Summer and MM Benefit Auction!”

Come and join us at Pro Skates Uptown on Quinpool Rd. THIS Sunday evening and place a bid on some great items from us and our generous suppliers to help Megan McMullin through the final stages of her recovery. She’s now a rehab outpatient and killing it on crutches, but won’t be able to work for quite a while yet.

There is TONS of awesome merchandise like WeSC jeans and shirts, Volcom winter jackets, Burton jackets, items from Element, VZ, Billabong, Matix, Girl Skateboards, Circa, Skull Skates, and so much more, so come place a bid!

There will be refreshments of sorts and we’re also planning to serve a bit of lobster to celebrate the release of this season’s “deck of the summer”, the Cape Islander! And for those of you who don’t eat lobster, we’ll have some other eats too.

Make your way to Quinpool Rd. THIS Sunday night from 6-9pm to help a sister out and enjoy some good food, friends and have a laugh too. It’s gonna be a fun night, so we hope see you there!

'09 Shop Decks Iz In!

Eh Yo, Y’all been waiting…now they’re here…new shop decks are now in stock, and they are $45…The Olde Salt’s name is Reynoldo…hes a man of the sea…a Sea Man if you will. You will become very familiar with him over the summer. The Other one is the deck for Uptown; very evil, very Quinpool. Words can’t describe the radness.
