DC Shoes x SE Racing PK Ripper
Bikes get you around, often more effectively than a skateboard, and more economically than a car. Time to get one.
From Hypebeast,
“DC Shoes is proud to introduce the PK Ripper Fixed Gear, the third installment in a series of limited edition bike projects from DC and SE Racing, all designed to embrace the heritage of the brand and the sport. A collector’s item, the PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike production will be limited to only 2,500 bikes worldwide. The Fixed Gear collaboration mixes a touch of 1970’s bike nostalgia with modern bike performance features. Inspirations for the PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike‘s design aesthetic stem directly from the original DC x SE Racing PK Ripper collaboration.
The new fixed gear bike design details are directly inspired from the classic PK Ripper BMX bike, complete with Floval tubing, Landing Gear fork and Looptail rear end. This blend of old school BMX and a modern fixed gear bike not only takes its cues from the PK Ripper BMX construction but also its colorways—Matte Black and Ball Burnished Silver.DC and SE Racing first joined together in 2007 for their exclusive limited edition project “30 Years of Radness.” The project honored 30-plus years of BMX history, and DC and SE Racing celebrated with a re-release of the PK Ripper bike in its original aesthetic for an exclusive limited edition quantity. In 2008, DC and SE Racing joined forces once again with the release of the DC x SE Racing 24” Quadangle. The Quadangle, or the Quad Looptail as it was known, was a 1980’s freestyle classic, and for the second collaboration DC and SE Racing re-released the BMX bike in for the first time ever, in a 24” version the same classic frame.
The DC PK Ripper Fixed Gear bike’s Matte Black and Ball Burnished Silver colorways will both be limited to only 1,250 each worldwide.”
I was told there are only 1000 of the bikes, but I’m quite certain only 7 made it to Canada, and we have one of each colour available for purchase. The silver/blue one actually has white straps, not brown, and they come with a brake and chain guard if you want to run either of those. Other wise, they’re pretty much as pictured.
We have a black 54cm and a silver 56cm. Get at me if you’re interested.
Here’s the BMX these are based on in case you weren’t into it back then,
WeSC, Saucy sounds for your ears
Some weird pictures, of really good headphones. I don’t really know much about driver size and decibels and noise cancellation, but to me, these sound really good. They’re really comfortable, and they come in some pretty regular solid colours. (Thanks Sauce!)
I went to Cuba about 10 years ago and brought back some maracas just like these for souvenirs,
These headphones are also called the Maraca. True story.
Hats off thursday… but only if you’re as cool as this guy.

Have an idea for a shirt? Do you have some sketches already done up?
Well now is your chance to have them printed!
ProGirl is having a t-shirt design contest for the month of November. Draw your idea on paper and deliver it yourself, or submit it via email to info-progirl@hotmail.com. We’ll be taking submissions for only 7 more days, and at the end we’ll pick the raddest design and we’ll have it printed! The winner will be contacted for their input into the final product and will be given a tee with their design and a goodie bag!
There is no theme, so go wild. The more “out” there the better. We do ask that drawings/designs be done with a black pen or marker, and the final image to be in black and white or a maximum of 3 colours.
Sooooo get drawing and bring in submissions (you can send in more then one) and we’ll get to choosing!

2009-2010 Snowboard Videos
We don’t normally stock snow DVDs year round, so when they show up in the fall it makes for a bit of buzz around the shop as we check each one out. This years crop is exceptional…all these vids seem to be shot with the raddest dudes, raddest spots and with $10,000 cameras (is the VX1000 as popular in the snow world as it is in the skate world?).
I’ve compiled a series of trailers for each of the videos in stock….so please…take some time and check dem out.

It snowed once, and it will again. We’re getting lucky with a couple weeks of sunny warm weather so we can still skate, but winter is definitely coming. So get your shite together, you need a new something or other!
Here’s a quick overview of a bunch of the gear we have in.
Snowboards from Salomon, Rome, TechNine, Capita, DC, Forum, Ride, and Burton.
And bindings from most of the same brands, as well as Union.

Analog jackets,
and pants,
And loads of jackets from Burton, Bonfire, Special Blend, Foursquare, Nomis, TechNine, 32, Holden, and DC.
