IB, rags and wheels, devonshire, pro was upstairs, saint andrews. around that time the city gave us the egg pond (in its granualer glory) to skate in. sandy brooks was doing large frontside wall rides. sonny woodworth had the best minihalf going. le nez (arron) was a force on the streets, him and jason v. were doing boardslides on rails before thrasher mag showed pics of gonzales and kaupas doing rails. mark sampson was this little kid who had freestyle skills. there was these crazy fellers with english accents that were fun to skate with. mike matheson was the protector of the timid and weak. oh the memories. twenty years ago eh?
